CGI (NYSE: GIB) (TSX: GIB.A) today announced that it signed a three-year contract in the second quarter of fiscal year 2013 with BMW Manufacturing Co., to provide SAP design and build services at BMW’s manufacturing facility in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Under the terms of the new agreement, CGI will provide BMW with an outcomes-based approach to the delivery of SAP design and build services. BMW will realize greater flexibility in responding to service demands; secure consistent access to a deep pool of SAP skills and knowledge; consolidate external supplier staffing for improved management and tighter alignment with key business goals; and ensure better retention of institutional knowledge.
