Sustainability Careers Expo is the UK’s largest sustainability-themed careers festival for students, designed to inspire and equip young people with the knowledge and skills to thrive in the green economy. Launched by CGI in 2022, the Expo has grown from a regional event into a national programme, engaging over 4,000 students to date and collaborating with more than 60 leading employers and education providers from across the green sector.
The Expo offers a dynamic mix of hands-on workshops, engaging panel discussions, and immersive experiences - from virtual reality and robotics to environmental science and sustainable innovation. The event has successfully been held at the iconic London Stadium in 2022, 2023, and 2024, steadily growing in reach, impact, and ambition each year.
In recognition of its success, the Expo was awarded Gold in the ‘Best Environmental or Sustainable Programme’ category at the Corporate Engagement Awards 2024, celebrating excellence in partnerships and community engagement.
Building on this success, the Expo will expand in 2025 to the Etihad Stadium in Manchester and the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, ensuring that more students – particularly those from underrepresented and underserved communities – can access meaningful green career inspiration and guidance.
