CGI (NYSE: GIB) (TSX: GIB.A) has been selected as the Strategic Delivery Partner for the Home Office’s Police & Public Protection Technology portfolio. The five-year contract began on 21st June 2022 and is valued initially at £95 million.

The Strategic Delivery Partner (SDP) will be an integral part of the Home Office Police and Public Protection Technology (PPPT) team, where CGI will help deliver user-centric technology solutions in support of the Home Office digital transformation agenda. CGI will bring its proven delivery expertise across Public Safety and Government by creating an open and evolving value chain ecosystem of partners which include NTT DATA, Principle One and Infoshare as well as other SMEs and law enforcement specialists. In line with Government ambitions, CGI will work closely with UK SMEs by supporting them with an anticipated 30% of the expenditure over the lifetime of the contract. CGI has also made significant commitments to promote Social Value, helping tackle social inequality, promote equal opportunities and wellbeing, and will extend this out across our partner ecosystem.
