Join us and experience the CGI Cyber Escape at Northumbrian Water’s Innovation Festival 2025
We are excited to be back at Northumbrian Water’s Innovation Festival from 7–11 July in Newcastle – and this year we’re bringing our immersive Cyber Escape experience to the festival grounds, giving participants a unique and engaging way to build their cyber security awareness and resilience. We’ll also be exhibiting across the week, showcasing how CGI helps utilities organisations deliver more sustainable, secure and digitally-enabled outcomes for their customers, communities and regulators.
Developed by CGI’s cyber security experts, the Cyber Escape experience is a fast-paced, interactive learning experience designed to help individuals and teams understand cyber threats and how to stay safe in a connected world. Participants race to solve a series of clues rooted in real-world cyber risks, such as phishing, password breaches and insider threats. The experience is ideal for building awareness, encouraging behavioural change and driving better security outcomes across organisations.

To participate in the Cyber Escape experience, attendees must sign up to take part in the Innovation Festival sprints. You’ll then be allocated to a team and given a slot to take part in the experience. Spaces are limited and will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis, so we recommend registering early!
