CGI (NYSE: GIB) (TSX: GIB.A), one of the largest independent IT and business consulting services firms in the world, has been selected by the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) to develop a transformational digital platform for its Defence Learning Management Capability (DLMC). The new platform will deliver tangible outcomes such as the management of learning, competence tracking, and certification for all Armed Forces personnel and MOD civil servants. It will bring together existing systems to a single coherent capability for individual learning under the MOD’s people programme initiative.
In collaboration with the MOD, and partners GP Strategies and Actica Consulting, CGI will adopt an Agile delivery approach to design and deliver a digital integration platform and associated applications, to improve the learning management experience. The project will utilize user-centred design and explore advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and cloud computing, to enhance the platform’s functionality and user experience.
