CGI (NYSE: GIB) (TSX: GIB.A) has been named as a supplier on the UK Ministry of Defence’s (MOD) new Digital and IT Professional Services (DIPS) framework. Crown Commercial Service (CCS) assisted MOD in the production of the DIPS framework and will become the framework authority upon go live, with MOD responsible for all customer engagement. The DIPS framework is due to run for four years and deliver a range of digital and IT specialists professional services to Defence Digital. The new framework will enable the MOD to improve access to key digital and information technology skills required by both military front line and supporting defence services.

CGI has successfully secured a position as a supplier on DIPS Lot 2: Dev, Apps, UX, Dev Ops, Sys Design & App Support and DIPS Lot 6: Intelligence Solutions. CGI will lead a diverse team comprising of best-in-class partner companies to provide a full range of expert capability, niche skills and resource capacity. The digital and IT skills delivered by CGI and its partners will augment MOD project teams and help accelerate delivery and quality assurance for a range of current and planned Defence Digital projects.
