London, UK, March 31 2022 - CGI (NYSE: GIB) (TSX: GIB.A) is delighted to announce the appointment of Mattie Yeta as Chief Sustainability Officer for CGI in UK.  Mattie joins the company from The Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra), where she held the position of Head of Sustainability, IT.

In this newly created role, Mattie will become a member of the UK Executive, reporting to Tara McGeehan, President, CGI in the UK & Australia, and will be responsible for working with members across the organisation to achieve common sustainability goals. She will provide key support to CGI’s external facing engagements in this area, continue to develop a strong relationship with the United Nations and COP summits, and provide actionable insights for clients.
