Returning for its 7th year, Festival of The Girl (FoTG) is a non-profit festival dedicated to encouraging girls aged 7 – 11, to explore their potential without being limited by gender stereotypes. FoTG offers a wide range of activities, all designed to inspire and empower young girls by showing them the world is full of possibilities.
About Sister Motion and the media production workshop:
Sister Motion is on a mission to increase the number of women behind the camera, working to close the gender gap in the production industry. Their media production workshop is a unique opportunity for girls to gain hands-on experience in camera operating, sound recording, directing and reporting.
Participants will be guided by female creative talent from Sister Motion, who will not only share their technical skills but help build confidence and encourage the girls to envision themselves in a range of media production roles.
