As Vice President of Consulting for CGI in The Netherlands, Hans Moonen provides his subject matter expertise to clients in the maritime, rail, aviation, postal and logistics industries, as well as to the European Commission.
Active in business consultancy roles for two decades, Hans joined CGI in 2009. During his career, he has operated at the crossroads of logistics, process change and innovative IT, initially at enterprise software vendor Baan (2000-2002), then at Erasmus University (2003-2008). His expertise spans logistical strategy, supply chain integration and logistical optimization.
Hans likes to approach problems critically and thinking “out-of-the-box,” with a drive to realize sustainable innovation for clients. In addition to his work at CGI, Hans holds a position as assistant professor at the University of Twente, where he teaches and conducts applied research with students and doctoral candidates in logistical chain orchestration.
Hans studied Industrial Engineering (MSc) at Eindhoven University of Technology and holds a PhD from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
