Paul Young is a Managing Consultant at CGI and is recognised as a subject matter expert around policing and digital capabilities to exploit data. With over three decades of operational and programme experience spanning public safety, Paul brings a rare blend of operational credibility and high-level delivery expertise.
At CGI, Paul leads consulting and business analysis engagements, helping clients modernise their mission-critical systems, improve interoperability, and strengthen data governance.
As a supporter for Social Value and our early careers professionals, Paul is a key mentor in CGI’s Student Kickstart Initiative (SKI) teams to aid the professional development of our Early Careers members through outcome-based projects.
Paul’s approach combines strategic vision with operational insight, developed through years of operational experience as a Police Officer and Crown Servant. He has been recognised with multiple commendations for innovative approaches, integrity, and life-saving actions.
Paul continues to serve his local communities with Thames Valley Police as a Special Constable, applying his expertise to frontline operations and community safety initiatives. He also serves as a mentor to early careers professionals.
Outside of work, Paul devotes time to family, some fitness! And a long-standing interest in motorcycling.
