With a strong foundation in systems design, systems engineering and automation, he specialises in helping organisations tackle complex cloud security challenges through infrastructure-as-code (IaC), policy-as-code (PaC), security pipeline engineering, security product development and secure cloud landing zone deployments.
Ali has led cloud security research and advisory engagements for several major UK public sector bodies, including guidance on Cloud Native Application Protection Platforms (CNAPPs), multi-cloud security, data protection and governance.
With over 15 years experience in Retail, Government and Aviation sectors, Ali’s expertise supports clients in achieving secure design, deployment and ongoing operations of cloud environments at scale and building security products that adapt to the current security challenges.
