Overview
Technology is a powerful enabler of sustainable development. From AI-driven insights to renewable energy systems and data-led decision-making, digital innovation has the potential to accelerate progress towards national and global goals. It helps end poverty and hunger, supports low-emission economic growth, improves living standards, and protects the environment for present and future generations—ensuring no one is left behind.
In this session, speakers from CGI in the UK, Edinburgh Napier University, and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) will explore how technology and innovation can be harnessed to deliver meaningful environmental and social impact. The discussion will also examine the emerging Corporate Digital Responsibility (CDR) framework, and how organisations can adopt responsible, ethical practices when deploying new technologies.
Join us for a deep dive into the future of sustainable development, and the role digital solutions can play in achieving national objectives and supporting a more resilient, inclusive world.
