Our UK Innovation Hubs are open, interactive and stimulating virtual and physical environments in which we work with our clients and ecosystem partners.
They are designed so clients and ecosystem partners can discover and investigate new and emerging technologies and create, assess and test new innovation ideas. The hubs are a dynamic virtual environment or physical spaces to run interactive meetings and co-innovation workshops.
To support these aims, our physical Innovation Hubs include:
- Immersive technologies in the form of Augmented and Virtual Reality Headsets
- Mobile display pods to support solution demos and collaboration
- Extra-large display screen to share content with impact
- An expansive Imagine scribble wall to support exchange of ideas
We invite our clients to join us and explore the topics, our vision, experience and critically how we at CGI can enhance knowledge, unlock potential and support ambitions in this area.
As boundaries between space, defence and intelligence operations continue to blur, our Gloucester centre is positioned uniquely to help clients connect the dots. The secure interactive environment features holographic projection and mixed reality to help demonstrate and visualise emerging technologies and their role in enhancing UK national security.
The latest hub to be opened is located in our Fenchurch Street office. During 2020 we will focus on a series of market relevant themes, our first being Smart Cities. A Vision for a Smart City will be brought to life through real-world experience and solutions across local authority areas of responsibility, showcasing the potential for the future.
Located within our Soapworks office in Salford, Manchester, this centre plays a key role in advancing CGI’s collaborative relationships across the public and private sectors in the North of England—connecting business, technology and community growth in the region.
