We’re proud to announce that CGI has become a member of the Womens Utilities Network (WUN) to support greater inclusion and career development across the utilities sector.
This partnership reflects our commitment to building a more diverse workforce and strengthening collaboration across the industry. It also creates new opportunities for our CGI Partners, and the wider utilities community, to connect, learn, and grow.
About the Womens Utilities Network
The Womens Utilities Network is a UK-wide community that supports women and allies working in utilities. Since launching in 2018, it has grown to more than 11,000 members.
WUN brings people together to share experiences, build networks, and support career development at every stage. Its work helps create a more inclusive environment where individuals can develop their skills and progress their careers.
Supporting talent across the utilities sector
Through this partnership, we are expanding how we support the development of women in utilities.
We will work with the WUN to:
- Increase access to industry networks and events
- Support learning and development opportunities
- Enable mentoring through a cross-industry programme
- Share insights to track engagement and impact
This approach strengthens our focus on inclusion while supporting the growth of skills across the sector.
Ro Crawford, Senior Vice President Consulting Services, CGI in the UK, said:
“CGI UK is proud to partner with the Womens Utilities Network, reinforcing our commitment to fostering a more inclusive and diverse utilities sector. By working together, we can strengthen collaboration across the industry, unlock new perspectives, and support the development of talent that will shape a more sustainable and innovative future.”
Holly Beeston, WUN advocate, added:
"We’re delighted to welcome CGI UK as a partner of the Womens Utilities Network. Their commitment to inclusion, collaboration and talent development strongly aligns with WUN’s mission to connect, support and champion women across the utilities sector. Together, we can help drive meaningful progress and build a more diverse and sustainable industry for the future.”
