CGI (TSX: GIB.A) (NYSE: GIB) is pleased to announce RFS360, the redesigned banking Software as a Service solution (SaaS), formerly known as RFS. The scalable, end-to-end core banking solution, implements a new design and new technical elements to enable differentiated offerings for clients. With an enhanced user interface and new application architecture, the modernized platform will deliver cost savings and accelerate our client’s digital transformation strategy.

“RFS360’s new, intuitive user interface provides a comprehensive customer profile view, enabling the financial institution to better understand and serve  their client’s needs,” said Paul Mackley, Vice President, Services to Credit Unions. “Innovation in technology has fundamentally changed the relationship between financial institutions and their customers. RFS360 positions clients for the future, with an agile service offering that is fully adaptable to meet the desired business outcomes of any client.”

At the core of its development, Application Programming Interfaces (API’s) and web services provide clients with the agility needed to respond to rapidly transforming marketplaces and changing customer demands. In addition to reducing development time-to-market, the new enhancements drive operational efficiencies with a programmatic, flexible approach for seamless application integration, resulting in a complete end-to-end solution.

Early adopter credit unions including Interior Savings Credit Union, Westoba Credit Union, WFCU Credit Union, TCU Financial, and Kindred Credit Union contributed to this initiative in areas such as user interface and API evaluation and testing. The goal of this collaboration was to ensure optimal customer experience and alignment of the solution to their respective digital transformation roadmaps.

For 35+ years CGI has been providing retail banking and ancillary systems to Canadian credit unions. Our core banking services support 100+ financial institutions and serve over 2 million credit union members across Canada.
