CGI’s President of UK and Australia, Tara McGeehan speaks about issues women face in the workplace and her experiences as a woman in STEM. She focuses on how women can tackle the glass ceiling and the sticky floor.

Tara shares her thoughts on factors that may indicate an organisation has a glass ceiling, such as the gender pay gap, representation on the board and across the business and the general feeling of the business.

She then goes on to share how women can tackle imposter syndrome through asking for help, seeking mentorship and taking control of their career through setting objectives, making a learning and development plan and having the confidence to go for those promotions
