For the second year running, we are partnering with Modernising Justice. The annual event, now in its 21st year, brings senior leaders from across the justice sector together to focus on strategy, networking, and technology to create an effective, modern and digitised justice system.
At the event we will be collaborating with Breakthrough in our panel discussion: Unlocking Social Value in the Tech Sector: Is providing technology skills and employment to prison leavers enough?
The panel session will include speakers from the criminal justice space, private sector and third sector to debate the more challenging intricacies of hiring prison leavers such as;
- How can tech companies provide prison leavers with interesting work that is relevant to their lived experience in criminal justice?
- How can the Justice sector plug some of their technology skills gaps by tapping into prison leaver talent via their tech suppliers?
- How can Central Government organisations better work with the private sector to carry out their social value obligations by looking at policy or removing red tape?
