CGI Space in Germany

We have a team of experts working at the European Space Operations Centre (ESOC) in Germany for almost 35 years and it now numbers over 100.

CGI Space in France

Most of our capability in France is consulting led. For example, we helped ESA evaluate its sustainability footprint, and our France-based consultants are leading a study on the delivery of eHealth by satellite to the sub-Saharan African region.

CGI Space in the Netherlands

Our Dutch business is a centre of excellence for smart transport and mobility so it comes as no surprise that we have a lot of satellite navigation expertise in the Netherlands and that we deliver Galileo from there.

CGI Space in UK

The UK forms the engine room ofCGI’s space business and is where much of our heritage lies. Our UK experience dates back to 1970 when we started our first space project with the precursor of ESA.

CGI Space in Portugal

Our space business here is very much in its infancy. However, as CGI’s Iberian presence stems from our acquisition of Edinfor – the IT arm of the national utility company Energias de Portugal - we have substantial expertise in the region of smartgrids, and GIS technologies, and we see great synergy between these and our space business.

CGI Space in Sweden

We are the largest IT services and outsourcing provider in Sweden. Our Swedish operation uses infrastructure management and cloud computing to help global businesses stay agile and competitive.

We work with some of the largest organisations in Norway such as Norges Bank and Statoil.

In the Czech Republic we are extremely well known for our security expertise and help several large financial organisations there with aspects of security.

CGI Space in Estonia

Our Estonian centre of excellence is technology led,  And has supported Estonia’s first satellite launch, on May 7, 2013, by building the satellite’s ground station control software. It was built using Hummingbird, a leading open source mission control software platform.Our client list is a ‘Who’s Who’ of the space industry, including European Space Agency (ESA), Astrium, EUMETSATt, Eutelsat, Inmarsat, SES and Thales Alenia Space.
