What's this all about?
During the pandemic, CGI has organized several online radio broadcasts for our members. CGI On Air radio shows have brought our employees, working remotely all over Finland, together around interesting themes.
As the main partner of Junction 2021, we will kick off the hackathon weekend by organizing an open-for-all online radio broadcast to discuss and celebrate all things Junction.
A perfect way to tune in to the hackathon mood!

Meet the hosts
CGI On Air with Junction 2021 is hosted by Futucast hosts William von der Pahlen and Isak Rautio. Futucast is one of Finland's most popular podcasts.
Meet the artist
Electronic music producer Yotto has performed at Coachella and Tomorrowland, remixed artists such as Coldplay, Röyksopp and Faithless, landed his debut album at the number one spot on a Billboard chart and gathered millions of streams on Spotify. And now he will close our radio show with some deep house beats to set the perfect Friday mood!
In this challenge, together with the City of Turku, we are looking for innovative, technology powered solutions to prevent social isolation and loneliness, a phenomenon that is rapidly rising in Finland. How could we recommend and deliver needs-based services to people living alone?
CGI & KONE are setting a sky(scraper)-is-the-limit challenge, where the teams get to build creative solutions to make maintenance services even smarter. The teams are tasked with recognizing which service action recommendations are truly relevant, so that an elevator technician is never sent to the field without an actual upcoming maintenance need.
CGI and Junction share a long and fruitful history together: this is our third year as the event's main partner.
As CGI's core business is reinventing value chains to accelerate the digital journey, partnering up with Junction enables us to innovate new services together with our clients and engage with the brightest talent in the industry.
Junction 2021 will take place 19-21 November to gather people around the world together for 48 hours to hack online and face-to-face, in a number of physical hacking Hubs all around the world.
You can will us in Espoo, Aalto Hub. Come say hello!
