Frederic Miskawi
Vice-President, Global Applied AI Lead, CGI
In this podcast by Analytics India Magazine (AIM), recorded as part of Cypher 2026 conference, Frederic Miskawi, Vice-President, Global Applied AI Lead within CGI’s Office of the CTO. Discusses how enterprises should bridge the gap between technological capabilities and their ability to adopt them, how people drive faster speed to value and how to effective governance can help teams use AI responsibly.
Fred shares that at the core of effective AI adoption are two skills: is context curation and intent framing. These involve understanding what information to provide AI models and articulating desired business outcomes. Connecting data, code patterns, and historical decisions across systems builds an institutional memory that intelligent agents can leverage with people providing direction and oversight to achieve the intended outcomes.
He also explains how CGI is evolving its engineering teams through the "pea pods" model, bringing together small, agile teams. Rather than writing code line by line, these engineers act as conductors who curate context, frame intent, and supervise autonomous agents applying their expertise and judgment to drive value.
