Gopal Chhetri is the Multi-Industry and Government (MIG) business unit leader at Asia Pacific Global Delivery Centers of Excellence. Gopal has been integral in building CGI’s offshore capability to deliver high-quality, end-to-end services for multiple large industry sectors across Europe, the U.K. and the U.S.
Responsible for managing industries such as manufacturing, retail, consumer services, government, and healthcare, under his direction, MIG is one of the fastest-growing business units in APAC, with high satisfaction ratings from clients, onshore partners, and members-partners. In 2018, Gopal was recognized as a CGI Builder, for his significant contributions to grow the offshore business and build strong business practices with a focus on innovation.
Gopal has been with CGI for over two decades and joined through the acquisition of Logica. He has played a pivotal role in building the APAC delivery business and expertise by championing communities of practice focused on AI and Analytics, Advanced Testing, Agile and DevOps, Cloud Transformation, Intelligent Automation, and driving strategic industry partnerships.
Gopal holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Information Technology from International American University and a Bachelor of Science from University of North Bengal.
