Gaetano (Nino) Pace leads our space industry operations and is also acting as Vice-President of Consulting Services for CGI in Italy. As a senior information and communications technology (ICT) executive, Nino has 25 years of experience managing large and complex projects in the space and IT industries. He has worked extensively in the areas of Earth observation (EO), downstream applications, AI, and big data processing technologies.
He's managed projects with clients such as the European Space Agency (ESA), European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites (EUMETSAT), European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF), Thales Alenia Space, Telespazio, and Capgemini. Nino also manages a team of 70+ highly skilled consultants and oversees business development, people and operations management, and project delivery.
