2. Informationsstyring og digitale services

CGI’s digitale services giver borgerne mulighed for at tilgå ydelser elektronisk. CGI DataCycle360 anvendes til dokumenthåndtering og dokumentarbejdsgange.

CGI vil fortsat understøtte Varha inden for blandt andet:

AI supports doctors in their daily work

Soon, the first doctors at Varha will have access to an AI-powered tool designed to simplify patient documentation and make consultations more efficient. For example, AI can assist in summarizing a patient’s medical history and drafting documents.

AI does not make decisions about patient care but acts as an intelligent assistant to the doctor. A doctor can, for example, ask AI to summarize how well a patient’s diabetes is being managed, or dictate a draft for a sick leave certificate or prescription. AI prepares the initial draft, which the doctor then reviews and finalizes.

According to Jari Poromaa, Chief Information Officer at Varha, this represents a transformative step forward.

“Instead of a doctor having to read hundreds of pages of patient information or enter the same information into multiple fields, AI can do much of the preparatory work. This frees up more time for patient interaction and clinical decision-making.”

The AI capabilities of the OMNI360 system are being developed in close collaboration with Varha’s experts. In the first phase, the focus is on supporting doctors in their daily work, but in the future, the technology could also be used in areas such as workforce scheduling and patient flow management.
