CGI styrker sin posisjon som et ledende IT-konsulentselskap innen forretningsrådgivning, brukeropplevelser og digital innovasjon.

Montréal, Quebec, 16 april, 2019 - CGI (TSX: GIB.A) (NYSE: GIB) kunngjorde i dag ferdigstillelse av det tidligere annonserte oppkjøpstilbudet fra det heleide datterselskapet CGI Nordic Holdings Limited, på Acando AB, et ledende IT management og konsulentselskap i Norden og Tyskland. Tilbudet er akseptert av aksjonærer som utgjør ca 94,3% av de stemmeberettigede aksjer. Alle nødvendige regulatoriske godkjennelser for gjennomføring av oppkjøpet er innhentet, og alle øvrige betingelser i tilbudet er oppfylt, og CGI har besluttet å gjennomføre oppkjøpet. Oppkjøpet av Acando tilfører CGI mer enn 2100 høyt kvalifiserte konsulenter fra fem land i Nord-Europa, særlig i de store metromarkedene i Stockholm, Oslo og Hamburg.

Med strategisk rådgivning, systemintegrasjon og innovative brukerorienterte digitaliseringstjenester, vil Acando utfylle CGIs globale tilstedeværelse og kompetanse på tvers av industrisektorer, inkludert produksjon, detaljhandel og offentlig forvaltning.
