Chantal Buteau leads CGI’s Québec City business unit since October 2016. She is responsible for client relationship development and service delivery, including consulting and systems integration, in addition to growing and developing CGI’s Québec-based centers of excellence. She serves many clients from government, insurance and financial services industries, such as Québec Revenue Agency, Health Insurance of Québec, Worker’s Compensation Board of Québec, Desjardins and Industrielle Alliance, to name a few.
Chantal has extensive experience in IT since joining CGI in 1988, and has held various project management and system architecture and integration roles for large and strategic projects during her career.
Chantal has also led business development and team leadership roles, and represented CGI for the implementation of a worker’s electronic file (Expresso project) for the Worker’s Compensation Board of Québec (CNESST). From 2015 until her appointment as leader of the Québec City operations, she served as lead of the Client Partnership Management Office (CPMO) for a large contract of reciprocity of services with Industrielle Alliance.
Chantal holds a Bachelor in Business Administration and a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in information systems, both from Laval University.
