Partnering, modernizing, strengthening: 50 years of commitment to mission-ready innovation
In December 2024, SkyAlyne selected CGI as its technology partner for Canada’s Future Aircrew Training program under a 25-year agreement. The partnership was designed to help build SkyAlyne’s operational capabilities, streamline processes and support innovation for the Department of National Defence’s Future Aircrew Training program.
As part of the agreement, CGI was set to deliver a range of technology services, including cybersecurity, cloud computing, end-user services and infrastructure management. The work also supported a broader goal: helping reimagine aircrew training for the Royal Canadian Air Force by consolidating three training operations under SkyAlyne and the Government of Canada’s joint management.
The story also reflects CGI’s broader approach to complex, mission-critical environments, combining IT and business consulting expertise with deep operational understanding to help clients strengthen performance and deliver long-term value. In this case, that meant supporting a Canadian-led training program designed to equip Royal Canadian Air Force aircrew with the skills and capabilities needed to operate in demanding conditions in Canada and abroad.
This story reflects CGI’s long-standing commitment to helping organizations modernize critical operations and build resilience through technology, collaboration and innovation.
