Tech academies

Our tech academies run from 5-18 weeks and are designed to provide you with in depth learning to set you up for success once you move into your new role. As a participant in the academy, you will join CGI with a cohort of new graduates who will be part of your learning journey.

You will work on individual and group assignments while getting coaching and guidance from our trainers and a representative from one of our business units. Once you graduate from the academy, you will have the chance to work in a mature Agile team which uses latest technologies.

Our NextGen Women in STEM Excel (WiSE) co-op program helps unlock women’s potential in STEM. It’s an intensive 4 month program that provides women with personal and professional development focused on four key areas:

• Insights
• Resources
• Community
• Exploration

The program includes mentorship and networking opportunities, as well as early career learning & development.Fall 2024 applications are closed. Please visit our career site in the first week of September to apply for our Winter 2025 co-op positions.

Our NextGen Indigenous Student Internship program provides Indigenous students with the opportunity to grow capabilities and accelerate their development.  Open to Indigenous post-secondary students across Canada, we are offering roles in business analysis, project management, software development and UX design. By joining this program, you will have access to:

• Development opportunities that allow you to grow your capabilities
• A senior project partner who will be there to support and guide you
• 1:1 mentorship with a leader
• Networking opportunities with peers in our national co-op program
• Affinity groups such as the BAIM (Black, Asian, Indigenous & Minorities), Neurodiversity and more
• Working flexible hours depending on the project you are allocated to and as mutually agreed upon with your manager
