CGI’s Salesforce.com practice in Victoria, BC, is expanding and we are looking for a talented Intermediate Force.com Developer to work in our Salesforce.com team in BC. This is an opportunity to be a part of a highly proficient, recognized, growing and strategic business. In this role you will work directly with our clients, team members and partners to implement custom Salesforce.com and Force.com applications. This is an exciting role for an experienced Intermediate Developer to leverage their passion for technical, hands-on development work while taking their career to the next level.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Participate in the full software development life cycle from technical design to development, testing and deployment
Design, build, test and deploy SFDC customizations which may include form layout changes, workflow triggers, workflow alerts, automated email responses, etc.
Use Apex and Visual Force to create unique customer-based solutions where needed, including developing products on the Force.com platform
Design and create Interfaces between Salesforce.com and other applications
Interact directly with our customers and the CGI team, including consultants, architects and pre-sales to ensure customer success
Provide support and administrative assistance to existing Salesforce.com clients.
Participate in the estimation and timeline process
Coach, mentor and provide technical leadership to junior developers

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

2+ years of Force.com experience with demonstrated knowledge and experience with SalesCloud, ServiceCloud, and Force.com in a development capacity.
2+ years of progressive Enterprise Applications Development and customization experience (with Java and/or Microsoft technologies)
Strong overall development skills throughout the SDLC with a preference for Agile methodology
Experience working on and deploying complex enterprise level solutions
Experience delivering custom application solutions driven by customer needs
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience
One or more Salesforce certifications (ADM201/DEV401/DEV501/Consultant/Force.com)
Experience in at least 3 of the nice to have skills.

User interface design using Javascript libraries and CSS
Data residency tools (e.g. CipherCloud, Perspecsys)
CRM applications (e.g., MS Dynamics CRM, Oracle Siebel)
Professional Services and/or Government and/or Utilities industries
Various methodologies such as: AGILE / ITIL / CMMI / ISO, etc.
