Montréal (Québec), 27 mai 2014

CGI (TSX: GIB.A) (NYSE: GIB) is proud to announce that it has been presented with the 2014 best business in relationship marketing award by L’Association du marketing relationnel  (“AMR”), the relationship marketing association of Quebec. This prize, which was handed out at the reception Gala Flèche d’or 2014, underlines CGI’s contribution to the advancement of the discipline, as well as its performance, sense of innovation, and the excellence of the projects the company has executed for its clients during the course of the year.

“CGI stood apart through its technological projects that put the accent on personalization and segmentation strategies,” explained Gilles Vaillancourt, executive director of the AMR. “The company is a major player in the field of relationship marketing — both in the digital and print spheres.”

“We are very honoured to have received this award,” underlined Sylvain Dupras, CGI vice-president, consulting services, Document Management Services. “It recognizes the determination of our teams to develop the most effective campaigns aimed at optimizing our clients’ relations with their own clients.”

CGI was also awarded the Flèche d’or trophy jointly with its client Opéra de Montréal for its La Traviata digital marketing campaign.

“The CGI team worked in close collaboration with us and generated a highly positive impact,” emphasized Opéra de Montréal Marketing Director, Guillaume Therrien. “In fact, our ticket sales increased by 450%, thanks to the team’s state-of-the-art technologies and exceptional talents. We were honoured to have won this award alongside a partner like CGI.”

The Flèche d’or competition was created more than 20 years ago to recognize the quality of relationship marketing strategies (direct, digital and client relations) and the closely measured results of Quebec campaigns.
