CGI (NYSE: GIB) (TSX: GIB.A) has been recognized as one of Canada's Best Diversity Employers by Forbes in its ranking of Canadian companies.

Forbes’ inaugural ranking of Canada’s Best Employer for Diversity recognizes Canadian companies that demonstrate a significant commitment to a well-defined strategy to foster and promote diversity, equity and inclusion in their workplace culture.

“We are honoured to be recognized as one of Canada’s Best Employers for Diversity. We are dedicated to equitable practices and an inclusive work environment for all of our consultants and professionals,” says Guy Vigeant, President of CGI’s operations in Canada.

Forbes partnered with market research group Statista to identify Canadian companies who are most dedicated to diversity, equity and inclusion. Statista compiled the ranking list by surveying 10,000 Canadians working for businesses with at least 500 employees in Canada.

"We are dedicated to nurturing an environment that brings together diverse talents and skills and that guides our employees to realize their goals within a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace,” says Julie Moreau, Vice-President, Human Resources at CGI in Canada. “CGI’s culture is essential to our success and empowers our employees to feel respected and recognized and to live by the CGI Dream, which is to create an environment in which we enjoy working together and, as owners, contribute to building a company we can be proud of.”

Earlier this year, CGI was also recognized by Forbes as one of Canada’s Best Employers. Anyone interested in pursuing their passion with CGI, is encouraged to visit CGI’s career page.
