  • Complete the skills criteria section and answer several screening questions specific to that position.
  • You'll be contacted for an interview if a strong fit for the position is found.

  • While the exact interview process may vary among CGI's locations and type of positions, the interviews are typically conducted in two phases. Both phases give you the opportunity to ask questions about CGI and the role for which you've applied, and for CGI to evaluate your interests, qualifications and fit with our culture and values.
    • Initial interviews are most often conducted by phone.
    • Second interviews are conducted in person at a CGI office. This more in-depth interview involves meeting with the responsible manager as well as several CGI professionals and, as required, clients.

  • If you are selected for the position, you'll be contacted, receive an offer and be presented with CGI's terms and conditions of employment, including the timing in which to respond.
  • As part of CGI's condition of employment, you'll be asked to provide information for the background check required in accordance with the nature of your position and your location.

  • Our orientation and integration process will help you quickly familiarize yourself with CGI's culture and operations, your team and your new role and responsibilities.
  • A set of integration activities will begin immediately with an orientation session and continue over the course of your first year, ensuring you have formal and regular meetings with your manager to give and receive feedback, and enabling you to build strong relationships with your colleagues.
  • The support we provide is individualized. You'll meet with your HR representative and be assigned a "buddy"—typically a peer—to guide you during your first year at CGI.
