Jiri: In CGI I started as a developer. Today I lead the team of 30 members. We use Kanban, SCRUM or SAFe and to be as much DevOps as possible. Agile methods work for us as expected, we deliver what customers want faster and more accurately. We enjoy working with them and we see that our work makes sense.

The size of project teams ranges from several developers to large complex teams of up to 40 people. Similarly, the duration of projects ranges from a few months to long-term strategic partnerships.
Many of our projects are global. Therefore, we have extensive experience in delivering in a distributed international environment - we work closely with customer development centers and other suppliers around the world.
Our development teams are based across CSEE countries in CGI offices in Czech Republic – Prague, Brno, Ostrava, in Slovakia – Bratislava and Hungary - Budapest. This distributed environment enables us to build teams more effectively, respond faster, and meet customer needs.
In 2019 CSEE Global Delivery Centre acquired new client. A global logistics company based in Germany has entrusted us with the development of its Java applications. Today, three agile teams work for the customer, the customer appreciates our quality and flexibility and plans to hand over the development and management of other applications.
We grow continuously. We start in smaller teams and gradually educate new colleagues. We improve our English, sometimes we visit our client in Hamburg, or we all meet our customer in Prague office of GDC.
Together with CGI Germany we are developing a new generation of highly secure enterprise dynamic case and document management system designed for military environments, multinational (European) institutions and global customers. We deliver both on premise solution or in private and / or public cloud; Office 365, all on Sharepoint technology.
We are good at what we do, the customer thinks so too, and so we are gradually expanding our team to include more colleagues. We work agile, our team is an integral part of the international team.
Our cooperation with a major global bank began more than 12 years ago. This bank is our most important client and it relies fully on us in a number of key areas where we develop, test and manage applications.
Since beginning we have been building agile teams together with the customer. Over the 12 years of our cooperation, we have made significant progress both technically and procedurally. Today, our teams focus on DevOps and process automation.
We learned a lot about banking processes, and in return the bank acquired top, reliable and motivated developers. Mutually beneficial cooperation is what we enjoy.
We support massive landscape of SAP systems for our most important customer in Germany. We ensure that these systems are in good condition to avoid the risk of any downtime. At the same time, in close cooperation with our client's internal teams, we participate in transformation activities that lead to the unification and streamlining of services in the area of SAP systems.
Our work is systematic and precise, we are a team, we rely on each other, the client relies on us. Most of us are in Czech Republic in Brno and Ostrava.
We are where our presence is needed ”. OpenGrid is a set of CGI products that are developed and managed across three continents. Its portfolio includes integrated applications and modules that enable energy and utilities customers to manage assets and resources. OpenGrid provides real-time manual and automatic scheduling of engineers' work. However, it can also optimize working time using the web interface and mobile client applications.
A team of developers and testers from CSEE GDC has been working on functional and technical design since 2002. We use programming languages, databases, application servers and programs to simulate and optimize the user interface and develop new features. Our teams analyse errors in internal testing environments, evaluate validity and propose clear solutions for all customers.
