Sébastien has more than 25 years of experience in communications and management. In his current role, he develops CGI’s global Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy, delivering on the company’s commitments to the environment, diversity, equity, inclusion, education and community.

Sébastien joined CGI in 2011 as Director of Communications and Public Affairs where he was responsible for public and media relations, and oversaw the communications teams for Canada and France.

Sébastien is a former journalist for Radio-Canada and has contributed to a number of publications, including the newspapers Le Devoir and Les Affaires. He served as a special advisor to the governor general of Canada from 2005 to 2010.

Sébastien is actively involved in the Montréal community, serving on many committees and boards of directors for not-for-profit organizations in education, arts and diversity. He is a graduate of the HEC Montréal business school and the Institute of Political Studies in France. He holds a master’s degree in communications and journalism.
