Zakiya Adams is the supervisor of the Emergency Housing Voucher program covering 42 counties across New York. She is responsible for implementing Department of Housing and Urban Development policy and compliance monitoring in the course of service delivery for underserved populations.
She joined CGI in 2016 and undertook her current role in 2021. Earlier in her CGI tenure she served as team lead for the New York Project-Based Rental Assistance program in New York City.
Zakiya holds a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from Syracuse University, and is Low Income Housing Tax Credit certified.
