The 3rd Annual Border Protection Innovations and Technology Forum, hosted by the Potomac Officers Club, will feature GovCon leaders of the public and private sectors that will address the critical issues of securing U.S. borders, particularly the development, implementation and procurement of new technology used in the field by CBP officers and agents.
John Sanders, Chief Operating Officer of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), will deliver the keynote speech. Gregg Mossburg, CGI Federal’s Senior Vice President of Strategic Operations, will introduce the speaker.
The event will also feature a panel discussion including Clay Goldwein, VP, Consulting Services of CGI Federal; and Jonathan McEntee, Director (Acting), Immigration & Maritime Science & Technology Directorate of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This discussion will be moderated by Dr. Reginald Brothers, EVP and CTO of Peraton.
Clay leads the U.S. Department of Homeland Security account at CGI Federal and has been responsible for the strategy and execution of DHS projects since 2011. Throughout his career, he has been a leader in IT modernization, cloud, and cybersecurity. His notable accomplishments include standing up the CGI federal cloud under the U.S. General Services Administration’s Infrastructure as a Service Blanket Purchase Agreement, and achieving one of the first Authority To Operate designations by the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP). He was also responsible for achieving an aggressive two-year schedule implementing a Credential Management solution at 26 Federal agencies under the DHS Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) program.
