Position Description

CGI is looking for a Sr. QA Analyst to join the team in Boston MA. If you are an experienced hands-on Quality engineer with strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with business and technical teams in a dynamic environment, we want to talk to you. Your future duties and responsibilities

Participate in sprint planning that delivers defined sprint iterations with delivery dates in a release plan. Provide a documented overview and summary report of the milestones as a deliverable. Include any identified risks and issues with proposed mitigations and resolutions as needed.

Participate in scrum team meetings and applicable iteration tasks including backlog refinement. Provide a documented overview and summary of this milestone as a deliverable that indicates the sprint iteration and due date. Include any identified risks and issues with proposed mitigations and resolutions as needed. Provide monthly test metrics on total number of:

• Test cases completed/outstanding

• Test scripts completed/outstanding

• Test results with severity levels

Updated documentation as needed, provide working functional components and controls

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• 8-10 years of experience in Information Services field focusing on QA activities and testing

• 3+ years working as a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

• Foreign Exchange business experience is a must

• Hands on experience in developing SQL, test automation scripts and validating SWIFT messages

• Expert knowledge in automation tools ; Selenium Web driver, Cucumber BDD for Web UI, Postman and Rest-Assured with BDD for API/Micro services, Pytest BDD framework for python and data hub testing, JMeter for performance testing is a plus.

Knowledge of TFS and Jira tools; solid understanding of the software development lifecycle especially in Agile

• Participate in sprint planning, help define interface development sprints and definitions for ‘Ready’ and ‘Done’

• Leverage existing documentation and diagrams to participate in creating the integration scrum team’s release plan

• Participate in backlog refinement, contribute to user stories, tasks, sprint reviews and retrospectives

• Design, build and manage testing frameworks and test content for the entire application stack

• Develop a test plan with traceability matrix

• Work with scrum team to create test plans and test cases from user stories stored in Jira; partner with cross-functional teams to seek inputs on process improvements and improve re-use of test assets; test cases need to verify the application meets business requirements and adheres to the solution design

• Analyze users stories and systems design documentation to create effective test cases that will result in working functional components and controls

• Define key metrics for performance and quality, and tool the product and interfaces in order to continually improve on these metrics

• Develop, automate and execute test cases to ensure product features are high quality and provide an intuitive client experience

• Work with scrum team to resolve test issues; identify and document bugs in usability and functionality; help engineers troubleshoot issues as they are uncovered; plan for regression tests as needed

• Participate in backlog refinement, contribute to user stories, tasks, sprint reviews and retrospectives

• Communicate to the Scrum Master any issues, concerns, and timeline requirements, and blockers; participate in project meetings as needed

• Deliver working, functional components and controls with ability to estimate test schedules and report on test progress
