    Position Description

    Supports the enterprise threat emulation and pen-testing program, which includes but is not limited to evaluating the security of the organization's IT infrastructure by continuously assessing and exploiting vulnerabilities to find out where hacking threats may lie by simulating attacks on networks, firewalls, operating systems, operational technology and web applications to identify vulnerabilities, and report the findings.

    Your future duties and responsibilities

    • Perform Red Teaming and System Assessment within Client Environments
    • Lead and participate in aspects of Cyber Development and Operational Consultancy: Malware Assessment, Red Teaming, Penetration Testing, and Hunt Methods.
    • Promote interdisciplinary solutions
    • Collaborate with a team of Cyber Professionals in support of a unified Mission to uncover technical threats and protect critical networks

    Required qualifications to be successful in this role

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent and 3+ years of professional experience in cyber security or related field
    • Proven technical task management experience
    • Experience within US Cyber Operational Groups, practicing: Red Teaming, Network Forensics, and general Cyber threat analysis
    • Experience with technologies (i.e. Cobalt Strike, Metasploit, Kali, Commando, Shodan, Nessus, Nmap) commonly used in Red Teaming exercises
    • Strong practical knowledge of common exploitation methodologies, system scanning, surveys, and network topology
    • Intermediate understanding of Windows and Unix operating systems internals
    • Ability to document and explain technical details clearly and concisely

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
    Desired qualifications that are not required, but are to be considered:

    • Experience reverse engineering COTS software, malware or hardware
    • Understanding of many operating system internals from user land to kernel land
    • Experience finding vulnerabilities that matter
    • Experience with symbolic code execution
    • Experience participating on a team using Scrum
    • Experience using a version control system such as Git or Mercurial
    • Experience providing, receiving and modifying code based on code reviews
    • Experience transforming vulnerabilities into Red Teaming Tools
