CGI Cyber Escape will help employees understand potential cyber security risks; compliment existing security awareness training and increase their knowledge of how to reduce the impact of a cyber-attack.
We are delighted to sponsor AccelerateHER 2021 as part of our drive to encourage more women into tech, promote gender equality in the workplace and highlight the achievements of female entrepreneurs. Having sponsored AccelerateHER for the first time in 2019, we are excited to renew such a positive partnership with event founders Investing Women.
The AccelerateHER Awards are a celebration of female founders and their potential to scale their companies internationally, highlighting the growing influence and aspirations of women across the tech sector.
CGI's Kirsty Ramsay said, “2020 was a fantastic year for AccelerateHER and the female entrepreneurs. As ever the standard of entries and presentation was exceptionally high – we even managed a smooth transition to online and virtual working. This year is already shaping up to be amazing and I am looking forward to joining the judging panel again this year to hear the presentations.”
The semi-finals took place on Thursday 25 February and Kirsty Ramsay, Vice President at CGI sat on the judging panel for a third year running.
CGI’s Vice President and Business Unit Leader for Scotland, Lindsay McGranaghan, will join the judging panel for the Awards finals on Thursday 25th March.
Lindsay said, Supporting programmes like the AccelerateHER Awards, which celebrate and promote female-founders in tech-focused sectors, is important. Women leading these companies demonstrate the potential to thrive in technology and inspire others to pursue success in a sector that is key to our economic future.
CGI will offer our continued support and collaboration to Investing Women throughout the year as part of an approach that already includes running STEM camps and Daughter to Work days to inspire local young people.
