SAP APO Functional Consultant

Position Description

CGI is looking to hire SAP APO Functional Consultant for a client in retails space.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Execute detailed testing for verification that no existing functionality has been impacted as a result of the technical upgrade.
• Demand Planning (DP), Supply Network Planning (SNP) and Production Scheduling (PPDS):
• Monitoring APO Process chain monitoring, error correction, and re-run if necessary
• Daily CIF reconciling tasks.
• Master data synchronization CIF run on demand.
• Monitor and execute data load jobs.
• Deployment master data troubleshooting.
• Troubleshooting.
• Master data validation when errors occur (PP/DS fields, SNP horizon, PDS match to BOM, etc.)
• Troubleshoot demand signal problem (past due orders, master data, PDS mismatch, etc.)
• Aid with process order conversion issues
• Systems validation
• Execute system validation tasks as per predefined scripts when necessary and document the results

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• 5+ years of SAP APO implementation/support
• Minimum 3 years SAP DP/SNP and PPDS experience
• Experience in handling CIF
• Certification in SAP preferable
• Expertise testing Service Pack upgrades (example SP10) to APO system.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Details oriented.
• Provide production support as needed, with problem resolution and escalation where necessary (on-call support may be required)
• Computer Science, Engineering or related degree, with formal training in the areas of ERP systems
• Working knowledge of industry common SDLC and ITIL frameworks
