Senior Software Engineer – Java Developer

Position Description

Works independently under limited supervision and applies knowledge of subject matter in Applications Development. Possess sufficient knowledge and skills to effectively deal with issues, challenges within field of specialization to develop simple applications solutions. Second level professional with direct impact on results and outcome.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Implementation of mobile applications/solutions that use Objective C, SWIFT, Java and SQLite.
• Resource Strong working experience in native Android and iOS application development
• Member should have Good knowledge in Android Stack and Custom Controls.
• Member should haveGood knowledge of Test driven development (unit and Module testing)
• Resource is expected to haveGood knowledge of SW-Version-Tools like SVN, GIT etc.,
• Resource should be expert in Ionic framework and Angular JS
• Member Should have submitted at least 5 apps to Play store.
• Presence in open source community, technical forums.
• Capability to build reusable frameworks to support business demands
• Member Should have experience in architecting enterprise applications
• Resource Should have strong understanding of lifecycles of Android Application, Activity, Service, Broadcast receivers.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

. • Candidate should have Experience with JSON, XML, JavaScript and interfacing Android applications to server side APIs
• Working knowledge of modern Android Development Guidelines and Style Guidelines as well as modern use of Support Library.
• Candidate should have Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines
• Candidate should have Should know to effective use debugging tools available
•Candidate should have Should be quick learner of existing app or platform
• Familiarity with continuous integration
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Candidate should have Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Candidate should have Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Candidate should have Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
• Candidate should have Strong experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer).
• Candidate should have Experience using social media APIs
• Candidate should have Experience with SSO is a Plus.
