Senior Software Engineer – Java Developer

Position Description

Works independently under limited supervision and applies knowledge of subject matter in Applications Development. Possess sufficient knowledge and skills to effectively deal with issues, challenges within field of specialization to develop simple applications solutions. Second level professional with direct impact on results and outcome.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Member should Implementation of mobile applications/solutions that use Android Studio, Android SDK and Google compatibility libraries
• Resource should have strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Resource should be Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
• Resource is expected to have Strong experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer).
• Member should have good Java/J2EE knowledge
• UX/UI Design skills
• Member should have Strong working experience in native Android and iOS application development
• Member should have Good knowledge in Android Stack and Custom Controls.
• ` Member should have Good knowledge of Test driven development (unit and Module testing)
• Resource should have Good knowledge of SW-Version-Tools like SVN, GIT etc.,
• Ionic framework and Native Angular is a plus
• Resource should have submitted at least 5 apps to Google Play Store.
• Presence in open source community, technical forums.
• Capability to build reusable frameworks to support business demands
• Resource Should have experience in architecting enterprise applications
• Member Should have strong understanding of lifecycles of Android Application, Activity, Service, Broadcast receivers.
• Should be able to work with fragments for creating different interfaces for different devices

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• Candidate should have experience with JSON, XML, JavaScript and interfacing Android applications to server side APIs
•Candidates Working knowledge of modern Android Development Guidelines and Style Guidelines as well as modern use of Support Library.
• He/ She should be Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines
• Candidate Should know to effective use debugging tools available
• Should be quick learner of existing app or platform
• Familiarity with continuous integration
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
• Candidate should have Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Candidate should have Experience using social media APIs
• Candidate should have Experience with SSO is a Plus.
