Position description:

This role is an excellent opportunity to be part of a world-class IT organization and contribute to the security and success of a large enterprise that’s continually evolving its business models. This IT Leader will be responsible for managing a great team of individuals focused on software development and IT service delivery. The role is expected to promote best practices in IT solution development, delivery and operations. This IT Leader will be responsible for ensuring successful delivery of IT projects and IT capabilities. The DevOps Leader will collaborate with internal customers to ensure alignment with defined business and technology strategies. This role will oversee the successful implementation and support of critical applications.

Your future responsibilities:

• Work with developers, engineers, and other stakeholders to advocate for operational improvements for the platforms in operation
• Define requirements and implementation plans for new solutions to support the organization
• Drive forward the micro-services adoption by implementing and supporting solutions like Kubernetes
• Develop and maintain relationships with business stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and strategy
• Partner with business and IT stakeholders to deliver strategic investments
• Provide guidance and technical leadership for DevOps delivery teams and cultivating a business-focused mind set

Required qulifications to be successful in this role:

• Experience with tools such as Ansible, Kubernetes, Zabbix, Grafana, APM, Prometheus, Graylog, Jira, and Confluence
• Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Driven, detail oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects at once.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, dynamic, agile driven environment
• A minimum of five years of experience in Software Development and information technology
• Experience with agile planning, deployment, integration, test/validation, and configuration custom software across multiple DevOps tooling platforms;
