Position description:

We are looking for passionate Java Developer to join our growing team, to support and build solutions for global financial institution. If you are inspired working in projects based on agile values and motivated by the opportunity to delight your clients by providing them with innovative solutions to complex technical problems, you are welcome to join our team.

Your future responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include:
• Developing and committing to sprint goals
• Resolving production issue assigned to team backlog
• Support to solve environmental issue related with development
• Estimate the effort required in completing the user stories and tasks.
• Creating unit tests and automated acceptance tests
• Develop user stories for product features and divide them into smaller tasks.
• Identify any impediments to the progress of the project and report to the Scrum Master.
• Attend daily scrum meetings and report the completed and planned tasks for each day.
• Collaborate effectively with other teams in international environment
• Collaborate with architects and other developers to produce just enough design
• Clarify any ambiguity with the Product Owner and other business users
• Conducting research, design, prototyping and other exploration activities

Required qulifications to be successful in this role:

• 2+ years of development experience in Java
• Practical experience with Oracle, SQL and PL/SQL development
• Self-reliance and self-motivation, able to quickly learn new applications and solve issues
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills (local and international teams)
• Independent worker that requires little supervision beyond initial scope expectation and transfer of requirement
• Very good command of the English language, both verbal and in writing
• Practical experience with source control tools (GIT/Bitbucket)
• Working experience with tools: JIRA, Confluence, Eclipse, InteliJ
• Ideally “T" shape skills, possess deep knowledge on a specific field (Java) and disposition for collaboration across many disciplines (oracle programming, analysis, testing)

Desired Qualifications:
• Understanding of SCRUM along with the benefits of an efficient agile-based software development life cycle – CI/CD, code review, user stories, story points, pair programming
• Knowledge of design and coding best practices to build high-quality solutions – TDD, BDD, clean code, clean architecture
• Knowledge of Weblogic, JBoss, Tomcat

Education and Certification:
• Bachelor’s degree with a focus on Information Technology/Communications, or equivalent
• Java professional certification
