Splunk Enterprise Security Specialist
Position Description
CGI has a requirement for one Splunk Enterprise Security Specialist to assist in the creation of “Use Cases" using Splunk Enterprise Security. This will require an estimated five (5) days of onsite effort weekly throughout the duration of the engagement
Your future duties and responsibilities
• Working with Clients and the SOC to create and tune “Use Cases" in ES
• Provide guidance and assistance with the setup of data sources
• Work with staff to transfer knowledge in the creation of Use Cases and Data Source setup
• Document all “Use Cases" created
• Migration of “Use Cases" QA to production
• Setup of Heavy forwarders if required
• Implementation (if required) of Splunk UBA
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Accredited Splunk Enterprise Security Certification
• University or College degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
• Recent experience setting up Splunk with a large Organization
• Demonstrated experience with clustered environments
Other Requirements
• Must be eligible to obtain a security clearance at the enhanced reliability level
• English essential, French will be considered an asset
