Mid QA Engineer_Testing _SSE

Position Description

Works independently under limited supervision and applies knowledge of subject matter in Applications Development. Possess sufficient knowledge and skills to effectively deal with issues, challenges within field of specialisation to develop simple applications solutions. Second level professional with direct impact on results and outcome.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Search, identification and report/documentation of possible bugs in web applications

• Definition of acceptance tests and user test with the development team based on user stories before the development starts

• Modelling and concept of possible situations and use cases which might come up/happen in productive environment

• Development of test plans, methods, descriptions and definitions for (mostly) Magento based ecommerce applications

• Analysis and interpretation of test results

• Derivation of possible and necessary improvements in development, documentations process based on ongoing test results

• Documentation and description of identified bugs and issues based on special templates in bug tracking system

• Controlling of fix process of reported bugs and issues together with development team

• Contact with development team and customers



Requirements:

• 3-5+ years of commercial experience in QA

• Writing testcases and runs as well as automation like Seleniu, optional with Sikuli tool

• Analytical skills, attention to details

• Understanding of testing processes, methodologies

• Knowlegde of Bugtracking systems

• Experience in writing test plans and testing documentation

• Intermediate English

• Good communication skills

• Quick learner

• Ability to work productively

Desirable:

• Great desire for self-development

• Experience in system like Magento

• Ability to work independently
