Dr. Parichay Mazumdar is a Senior Consultant in the AI & Data in Financial Services team, based in the Netherlands. He focuses on solving complex client problems through data science, automation, and AI. With a passion for building practical, reliable solutions, Parichay bridges the gap between business needs and cutting-edge technology.
He has worked with clients across industries including finance, retail, and pharmaceuticals. His recent work includes developing real-time optimization tools for IKEA, designing decision automation systems for a global pharmaceutical company, and delivering trainings on generative AI. Before joining the firm, he worked at Ernst & Young in advanced analytics and automation roles.
Parichay holds a Ph.D. in Astronomy from the Max Planck Institute for Radioastronomy and a Master’s in Physics & Astronomy from the Bonn-Cologne Graduate School. Outside of work, he enjoys board games, Dungeons & Dragons, bouldering, music, and spending time in nature.
