A CGI member since 1996, Mike leads the company’s mergers and acquisitions function worldwide. In this role, he collaborates with leaders across CGI’s global operations to execute CGI’s Buy Strategy, to evaluate prospective companies that meet our strategic growth objectives, and to support the effective integration of mergers. Mike also is a member of CGI’s Executive Committee, providing counsel on the opportunities to expand CGI’s footprint to offer clients greater scale and expertise.

From 2017 to 2020, Mike oversaw CGI’s Marketing and Communications function, leading a global team of professionals across 17 countries to help raise awareness of CGI, enable growth, and further develop new service capabilities. From 2014, he also led global efforts to develop and expand the company’s portfolio of industry-leading intellectual property (IP) solutions in all geographies, markets and verticals. During this time, IP grew from representing 15% of global revenue to 22%.

Before moving to these global roles, Mike led various aspects of CGI’s operations in the United States, including serving as Senior Vice-President of CGI’s Western U.S. operations. In this role, he was responsible for the company’s operations in 13 states, working with clients in financial services, communications, state and local government, high tech, and other industries to deliver CGI’s full range of end-to-end services.

Mike also oversaw CGI’s strategy development, offering development, and marketing for the state and local government solutions in the U.S., where CGI is one of the top providers of IT services in the nation.

In addition, he served as the client executive within the New York metro area, overseeing some of CGI’s largest application maintenance and consulting engagements, and leading its work for some of New York City’s most critical initiatives.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University and regularly engages with community organizations, such as the Youth Centers of Montreal.
