Jay has overall responsibility for the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) Commercial and Public Services business including client relationships and service delivery for consulting, systems integration and outsourcing.

Previously, Jay held the position of Senior Vice-President responsible for CGI’s Atlantic Canada business.

Prior to joining CGI, Jay was the Vice-President of Group Information Services for Manulife/Maritime Life where he was responsible for the day-to-day IS operations of the largest group health insurer in Canada. While at Maritime Life, he also held the position of Vice-President of corporate, pensions and investments IS. Before joining Manulife/Maritime Life, Jay was a Senior Manager with Deloitte & Touche Consulting Group in Toronto and New York where he served finance clients worldwide.

Jay is currently a member of the Dalhousie University Board of Governors’ Capital Projects & Facilities Committee and is a past member of Dalhousie University’s Advisory Board for Computer Science. He also served on the Canadian Advisory Board for NASSCOM and has been active in committees to help drive gender equality in information technology leadership.

Jay studied Business Administration at Mount Saint Vincent University and Business Computer Science / Programming at the Nova Scotia Institute of Technology. He continues his professional development, completing programs such as the Directors Education Program at the Rotman School of Management - Institute of Corporate Directors ICD.D and the Delivering Information Services program at Harvard Business School.
