For years, CGI’s office in Quebec City has taken part in an annual fundraising walk for Kids Help Phone, which provides confidential professional counseling for kids at no charge. And, sometimes the CGI volunteers like to do more than just walk.

A large crowd of people was surprised, for example, when CGI walkers performed a flash mob at a Kids Help Phone event in Quebec City, involving choreography and lip synching to the tune of U2’s “Beautiful Day.”

More than 100 CGI members and their children participated in the flash mob, which took place at Place d'Youville Square, a popular destination for shopping and dining.

With hundreds watching, the performance gave the CGI walkers an opportunity to help raise more awareness of the mission and work of Kids Help Phone in addition to raising funds.

Kids Help Phone, a Canadian-based charity, provides free, around-the-clock phone and online counseling for youth age 20 and under to help them deal with a wide range of family, school, dating and other issues.
