Infrastructure as a service (IaaS)

Driving control, flexibility and performance

CGI's infrastructure as a service (IaaS) offerings give enterprises the power to choose the right cloud for the work, based on business needs, and then rapidly provision and manage them throughout their lifecycle. To support varying requirements for performance and security, CGI offers our clients a choice of:

  • Dedicated private clouds on client premises or in secure CGI data centers around the globe
  • Local, multi-tenant, secure virtual private clouds to address data residency requirements
  • Government certified secure infrastructure as a service, including a U.S. federal government certified cloud and UK Secure Government Cloud
  • Managed public clouds (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, etc.)
  • Virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) as an IaaS-based workspace solution

CGI operates 23 secure data centers across the Americas, Europe and Asia. In addition, we offer remote infrastructure management (RIM) services for many clients from our global control centers. In 2014, CGI became the first large cloud service provider to obtain both U.S. civilian agency and defense cloud security certifications.

Our IaaS offerings, including an optimal hybrid cloud mix, can be seamlessly integrated, governed, managed and available from the CGI Unify360 hybrid IT management suite, and supported by our cloud consulting services.

As more enterprises adopt DevOps methodologies and cultures to emphasize collaboration and agility between software developers and other IT operations like infrastructure services, CGI Unify360 helps unlock the efficiencies of DevOps practices by providing tools and frameworks for improving end-to-end IT service delivery and flexibility.
